Escape to Donegal.

Nothing sums up the Donegal way of life like the traditional thatched Mamore Cottages, where hours pass blissfully watching the sun set on the Atlantic Ocean or cosying up by the open turf fire.

Each of the five cottages has been carefully restored to the style in which it was built 150 years ago, with added heating and mod cons for comfort. Unique features such as the bog oak roof, flagged stone floor and antique pine furniture ensure an unforgettable stay.

Visitors enjoy breathtaking views of the Urris Hills and rugged coastline, with the untouched Leenan beach just 10 minutes away. The cottages are located along the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ in Donegal – a county named ‘Coolest Place on the Planet for 2017’ by National Geographic Traveller.

Mamore Cottages has verified Superhost status on Airbnb, and over 100 reviews averaging at 4.9 stars.

KIDS LOVED THE DONKEYS

“Kids loved the donkeys in the field opposite and cosying up by the turf fire. If you want to get away from it all and have a traditional experience then this is the place. Will be back.”

STEP BACK IN TIME

"Spectacular location with panoramic views of hills and sea. Incredibly peaceful with large sized private courtyard. The cottage was an authentic step back in time but with all the mod cons you could want. Superb all round!"
