COTTAGES
Located along the Wild Atlantic Way, all five Mamore Cottages have been carefully restored to their 150-year-old design by the Kearney family and neighbouring craftspeople. Each cottage takes the name of the owner-tenant who occupied it long ago.

Traditional bog oak ceilings, hearths, flagged stone floors and antique pine furniture offer a step back in time, with added mod cons for a comfortable stay.
​
All beds are large doubles (solid wood or iron-railed), and some cottages have a unique ‘Settle bed’ next to the fireplace, framed by a curtain for privacy. This type of bed was a common feature in early Irish homes, reserved for those in need of extra warmth.
The living room area is the heart of the cottage. There, you'll find a kitchen, dining table, dresser, turf fireplace and comfortable lounge chairs and couches. With utensils and modern cooking appliances, you have everything you need to cook at home.

Though all cottages are well insulated and fitted with central heating, additional wood and turf is supplied in the outside shed for a truly cosy experience.
